    Great

We really loved our stay. Great location, NICE views. Waters of the world is not far from the hotel. Visited few places in the center, at a moderate distance from the property.

    Very good

We loved views and staff of this venue. The beds are very comfortable. We dined out at Tupelo Honey, set around 4-6 minutes away by foot the hotel.

Suitable place for exploring Knoxville. Comfortable atmosphere and professional personnel. There were coffee & tea makers and a fridge in our room upon arrival. Moreover, free Wi-Fi was great.

Welcomed me and my pooch warmly and even gave her a biscuit!

no wine openers in the room -sounds petty but I consider that basic , there were none in the hotel , only at the bar- yikes

    Nice

    Central location, rooms were nice

Parking was a horrendous. Valets were rude and uncooperative, they should be reminded of how to treat customers with respect whether they park their cars or not. Parking garage was always difficult to navigate since it was not a Hilton property.

Close to downtown, allowing you to walk to many shops, restaurants, and key elements. Nicely decorated considering the age of the building.

Room service over priced for quality of food. They place water at the wet bar but then charge you $3.75 a bottle for water you can purchase at a local store for $.99-$1.50. There's No refrigerator or microwave, so can't have drinks without a cooler. There's a $13 per day parking fee, this is not listed on the hotel information. You do not have access to a luggage carrier unless you pay $20 to valet park, you have to park in the garage, use the elevator back to ground floor and then up sidewalk into the hotel. Room was not cleaned the 3 nights we stayed, towels were left in a bag on the door handle. Building vey old, pool extremely small and only 3 feet deep with old molded seat cushions on the chairs. We felt it was too dirty to sit and relax even in 95 degree weather. The restroom is so small the door hits the commode when open. Very disappointed considering the "Hilton" name.

    Very good

It was close to the downtown shops & restaurants.

Didn't realize we'd have to pay for parking & walk from the parking garage to the hotel. It was a lot of walking for my mom. Also, our room did not have a refrigerator even though there was a spot for it. We expected a bit more with the name Hilton.

the gap between the door of the room and the floor allows the light and the noise coming from the corridor (9th floor). It remind me a very cheap hostel (20$ or less), but I paid 150$. It is a shame in my opinion! I also found old dry cereal left over from the previous guest on the cabinet of the television.

We were there for only one night, so it was doable. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean.

The thermostat in our room was all the way down as cool as it would go, and it was not cool enough. When we arrived and parked in the garage, it was $12! The attendant didn't tell us that it would be free if we checked in first. And...$3.50 for a bottle of water!!!!

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was stocked with extra pillows and an extra blanket. The service was excellent.

I think parking should be free for guests. I understand that downtown parking lots are often utilized by commuters and they should be charged. Paying guests, however, should park for free.

The front desk staff went above and beyond. Due to two weddings and a baseball tournament in town, they bumped our reservation to a higher level (but at the regular room rate) to get us out of the noise and party zone. This was unknown to us until we accessed the floor room & room given. They also gave us directions to nearby attractions within walking distance. We also loved having a Starbucks on sight.

Noisy, crowded lobby due to baseball tournament and wedding guests. This made it impossible to quietly relax in the lobby/ at Starbucks with a cup of coffee. Also, concierge room too small to accommodate multiple guests and restaurant too noisy for quiet meal. We ended up taking meals off site.

    Nice

I had booked a king room and at check in I wasn't told that they had switched us to a double queen because they had "sold out" of the king rooms. I found it odd that they had sold out of a room that I had reserved. When we walked in to the room and realized it was the wrong room, I called the front desk and they kept telling me that they had sold out but, I booked a room-a specific room! It took talking to three people to finally get to a manager. Even the manager said well we sold out of the kings. When I book a room in advance I expect to get the room I booked. There was no communication at check in of the change. Not a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was nice the staff however was not.

    Location

I misunderstood the check in man over the area where the complimentary breakfast was served - the old girl on the 'paying' breakfast area - snapped when I said it was complimentary - I suggested it would be sorted out when we checked out - which it was - we paid for our breakfast.
